Speed of Age

The Age of Speed manifest itself in many forms over th past 60 years. We decided to go faster.

Faster airplanes culminating in the Concorde breaking the Speed of Sound at average cruise speed of Mach 2.02 (about 2,140 km/h or 1,330 mph). It was a Supersonic aircraft.

Faster highways - Texas Highways went from a 55 mph limit to 80 mph in West Texas over this period.

Faster trains - Japan bullet train travels today at speeds up to 300 km/h (186 mph). In France train speed up to 320 lm/h.

Now, after 68 years, I have decided to travel at the Speed of Age. As a young man my legs would take me wherever i chose without question. After two arthroscopic knee surgeries I have to tell my legs when and where to move. The Speed of Age is an adjustment mentally to current physical conditions. The good news is everything still moves.

The Beginning

This is a day that has moved me to Blog, this day, having reached the 68th anniversary of my birth.

Geoffrey with a "G" will be a place to release random thoughts and ideas,
such as this:

"Do, or do not. There is no try."
